- Dr. Andy Ewing has won the 2006 Award in Chemical Instrumentation from the American Chemical Society Analytical Division.

Dr. Andy Ewing is the recipient of the 2006 Eastern Analytical Symposium Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Fields of Analytical Chemistry. This award is the premier award bestowed by the Eastern Analytical Symposium.
- Dr. Chris Falzone was selected as the receipient of the 4th Annual Priestley Prize for Oustanding Teaching in Chemistry.
- Dr. Mike Green has won the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and a Beckman Young Investigator Award from the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation.
- Dr. Sharon Hammes-Schiffer has been named the Eberly Professor of Biotechnology at Penn State.
- Dr. Chris Keating has won the Young Investigator Award from the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation and a Unilever Outstanding Young Investigator Award from the American Chemical Society for 2006.

- Dr. Ayusman Sen has been elected to the rank of Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
- Dr. Erin Sheets has been awarded the 2006 Young Alumni Achievement Award from Juniata College.
- Dr. Paul Weiss has been named Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Physics at Penn State.
- Dr. Mary Beth Williams is the 2007 Young Investigator Awardee of the Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry.
