Figure 1. An analysis of kinetics (km) and thermodynamics of fragmentation
reactions of radical anions (circles) and radical cations (squares). The data for
two different modes of fragmentations (open and filled symbols) are
fitted into parabolic free-energy relationships. The behavior in the highly
exergonic region remains to be explored.
