Send Mail Problems Using Eudora for PC's
Fix:
1. Determine Eudora's installation directory. You can do this by right clicking on your Eudora shortcut and selecting properties, or by searching for the eudora.exe file in your hard drive. (it will be in your installation directory)
2. Exit out of Eudora.
3. Within the installation directory, search for the file "eudora.ini".
4. Open this file in notepad.
5. Find the SMTPAuthAllowed entry. Change number from 0 to 1
6. Find the SMTPAuthRequired entry. Change number from 0 to 1
7. Find the SMTPAuthBanished entry. Change it or add it if it is not present:
SMTPAuthBanished=CRAM-MD5
8. Save the file.
9. Restart Eudora.
