Also, because Eudora 5.2 looks at the POP server for SASL authentication and apparently thinks our pop server has CRAM-MD5 turned on, it may cause a Password/Authentication error when the user checks for new mail.

So for each Mac Eudora 5.2 you install:

1)  Open up a New Message in their Eudora

2)  In the Message Area, Enter :

<x-eudora-setting:12909=cram-md5>
 

3)  Double-Click on the x-setting line you just entered above.

4) A window (see below should display). Click Set Setting

5)  This will disable Cram-md5
