Environmental
Environmental chemistry spans a wide range of disciplines, and studies at Penn State span interests from biogeochemical processes to radioactive waste remediation and atmospheric chemistry. Faculty within the chemistry department have strong ties to the Center for Environmental Chemistry and Geochemistry and the NSF-funded Center for Environmental Kinetics Analysis, as well as the Penn State Institutes for the Environment.
